This may be the smallest of four new recreation centres that The City of Calgary has developed, however it is arguably the most visually striking. Bringing together ice sport enthusiasts from across the city, this 7,432 square metre competitive tournament facility features two multi-purpose rinks for ice sports such as hockey, sledge hockey, ringette and figure skating. From an end-user’s perspective, it is the only one of the four facilities dedicated entirely to ice sports and can accommodate up to 600 spectators through a combination of warm and cold-side seating.

Amenities include:

  • Two Multi-Purpose Rinks
  • Spectator Seating
  • Large and Small Rooms for use as Studios
  • Classrooms and Meeting Spaces
  • Food and Beverage Services
  • Pro Shop
  • Change Rooms and Officials Rooms
  • Dryland Training Space
  • Administration Offices
