As a Partner at SMP Engineering, Alim leads the firm's accounting function and champions people-first corporate services across Human Resources, marketing, and administration. His MBA and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation bring a blend of business leadership, financial expertise, and practical insight into how engineering firms operate and grow.

His journey with SMP began as an electrical engineering summer student from 2001 to 2003, followed by a full-time role as an electrical designer and drafter. After completing an undergraduate degree in business, Alim returned to SMP in 2008, joining the accounting team with a fresh perspective and a strong commitment to building effective, supportive systems behind the scenes.
