Cameron Shade is a Red Seal Journeyman Electrician who earned his certification in 2017 and worked on the construction side of several major Calgary projects, including the BMO Centre expansion, the Calgary Cancer Centre, and a wide range of tenant improvements, retail spaces, and commercial renovations. His hands-on field experience on these large-scale builds provided a strong foundation in installation, coordination, and practical problem-solving within complex electrical systems.

Committed to continuous growth, Cameron completed his Electrical Engineering Technology diploma through SAIT, taking the program online and after hours while working full-time. This dual background — hands-on trade experience paired with formal engineering training — allows him to seamlessly bridge practical field knowledge with design-oriented problem solving.

Outside of his professional life, Cameron enjoys baking sourdough bread, maintaining an active lifestyle through regular workouts, and unwinding with the occasional trail run. These hobbies balance his technical career with creativity, discipline, and time outdoors. Cameron brings a reliable, detail-focused, and solution-driven approach to every role, making him a strong contributor in construction, design, and engineering environments.
