A graduate of SAIT's Electrical Engineering Technology program, Chris joined SMP before he had even finished school, making for a seamless move from student to career.

After several years learning the ropes as a Junior Designer, he spent close to a decade working abroad in the public sector, where he handled projects end to end: design and contract documents, tendering and awarding work, administering contracts, issuing payment certificates, and conducting site reviews through to substantial completion.

Chris returned to SMP in 2013 and has continued to advance his credentials along the way, earning his P.Tech.(Eng.) and P.L.(Eng.) designations through APEGA and being promoted to Associate in 2019. Outside of work, he is a husband and father of two.
