Before joining SMP, Jeff spent over 20 years in the field as a Master Electrician, including 7.5 years running his own contracting company focused on commercial and residential work with some light industrial projects.

He graduated from SAIT in 2012 as a Red Seal Journeyman and earned his master's certificate in 2015. Jeff has experience in project management and as a foreman and site supervisor, managing crews of up to 30 employees at a time, and he is currently taking courses to achieve his PEC designation (Professional Electrical Contractor).

Jeff enjoys golf, camping, and road trips to the mountains, and of course spending time with his young family. He has two kids, a daughter who is five and a son who is seven, and he also likes to relax by watching a movie or gaming.
