As a designer at SMP Engineering, Shabnam has drawn on her architecture background to explore the electrical side of buildings in detail, deepening her understanding of how a building's systems come together.

She is currently involved in residential and tenant improvement projects, continually expanding her technical knowledge and design capabilities. Shabnam enjoys being part of a design team and takes real pride in seeing a project completed, or later visiting a building she helped bring to life, knowing the impact of her detailed work.

With a strong attention to detail, Shabnam lives by the words of architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe: "God is in the details." She focuses on creating accurate, fully coordinated Revit models and construction drawings that deliver high-quality results on every project.
