Trent is an electrical engineer and technologist. He graduated from SAIT in 2009 and from the University of Alberta in 2016 and recently obtained his Professional Engineering designation with APEGA and EGBC.

He enjoys power systems and lighting, and is interested in furthering his knowledge in communications and security systems. Previously, before starting in the electrical field he was a welder for 10 years, and received his Journeyman's certificate as well as B Pressure ticket.

His hobbies include hiking and running, camping, and all things in the outdoors. He especially likes going to the beach with his family and swimming in the different rivers, lakes and ocean spots on Vancouver Island.
