SMP Engineering provided consulting services for Calgary's McCaig Tower, featuring state-of-the-art ICU, operating suites, and diagnostic imaging in a fast-tracked urban healthcare expansion project.
Built within a constrained urban site, the $350M large, fast-tracked project includes a 36-bed intensive care unit and diagnostic imaging satellite, three inpatient units, 11 state-of-the-art operating suites, space for an additional 12 operating rooms, a new surgical processing department, administration spaces for clinical departments, and retail spaces.
