SMP Engineering partnered to supervise Guyana Power & Light's grid expansion, including transmission lines, fiber optics, SCADA, and substations for improved electricity distribution.
A joint venture agreement with a local engineering firm to provide engineering supervision and management services for the Guyana Power & Light Infrastructure Development Project. The scope of services included approximately 110 km of 69 kV overhead transmission lines, installation of a fibre optic network and SCADA system, and seven 69/13.8 kV substations.
