Renz Laraya was born and raised in the Philippines, where a family rooted in teaching and a childhood spent around small construction projects sparked his passion for engineering. Influenced strongly by his father's work in the electrical field, he pursued a path in electrical design, eventually becoming an Electrical Designer who thrives on hands-on learning and creating safe, reliable systems.

He tends to dig deeply into unfamiliar concepts, gathering knowledge until he fully understands the task at hand. Colleagues describe him as personable, collaborative, and someone who enjoys connecting with others both professionally and socially.

Motivated by a desire to grow, provide, and make ethical decisions, Renz values learning from mistakes and striving for best practices. Outside of work, he enjoys connecting with friends and family, playing basketball and volleyball, and taking part in winter and summer sports. Renz aspires to lead with integrity and help shape the next generation of young professionals.
