Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre

The RDRHC redevelopment project will encompass both new construction and renovations on the current site. The project budget, announced at $1.8 billion, includes the construction of a new inpatient tower and extensive renovations to the existing hospital. These renovations will incorporate a new cardiac catheterization suite (cath lab) and an expanded medical device reprocessing (MDR) department.

The new inpatient tower, to be seamlessly connected to the main building, will provide support for 200 additional beds. It will also include the construction of the MDR department, Cath Lab, and new operating rooms.
