SMP Engineering provided electrical services for AgeCare Seton, a long-term care and dementia village in Calgary, featuring 252 supportive living and 59 long-term care suites, with daycare and community programs.
Conveniently located in the community of Seton and adjacent to the South Health Campus Hospital, AgeCare Seton is a long-term care and dementia village. The 250,000 ft2, six-storey, concrete, mid-rise building provides an additional 252 Supportive Living and 59 Long-Term Care private suites for seniors in Calgary and surrounding areas.
This community also includes child daycare and adult day support programs, multiple dining rooms, a greenhouse, and an auditorium. This building was fast-tracked, meaning it was required to be built within two years to meet the Government’s completion mandate for funding.
