SMP Engineering provided electrical design for Major Tom, Calgary's award-winning rooftop restaurant featuring 1960s-inspired decor and stunning views from Stephen Avenue Place's 40th floor.
Located on the 40th Floor of Stephen Avenue Place in downtown Calgary, Major Tom has become a “major” hotspot. Recently named “Best New Eatery” in Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants list, the design of the restaurant and bar was inspired by the 1960s and highlights the existing building's architecture and cast concrete ceiling, among other details.
