SMP Engineering designed electrical systems for Calgary's Seton Multi-Services Facility, a LEED Silver certified building housing fire, police, parks, and bylaw services with segregated systems and backup generator.
This new-build multi-services facility benefits four communities in south Calgary and houses the Calgary Fire Department (with three vehicle/equipment bays), Calgary Police Services, Calgary Parks and Recreation, and Animal & Bylaw Services. Electrical services were segregated, as required, to meet the operational requirements of the various departments. The entire facility is backed up with a bi-fuel generator and was designed to LEED® Silver standards.
