SMP Engineering provided electrical design for The Ampersand's redevelopment, featuring conference center, fitness facilities, and modern amenities in downtown Calgary's revitalized office complex.
Recently rebranded as "The Ampersand," the former Sun Life Plaza building in downtown Calgary was transformed through a $25M redevelopment, which was completed in three phases, adding 57,000 ft² of building amenities. Phase One included the conference centre; Phase Two encompassed the tenant-exclusive fitness centre, tenant lounge, and multi-purpose court for teambuilding activities and sport; and Phase Three included the entryways, feature stairs, walkways, and marketplace.
