Rahim, a senior electrical engineer at SMP Engineering, has been with the team for almost 17 years specializing in healthcare infrastructure design. He received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Calgary where he grew up and is now based in Edmonton with his wife.
Rahim's curiosity and collaborative mindset drive innovative solutions that enhance patient care and meet evolving technical demands specifically when designing complex systems for hospitals including power, lighting, telecommunications, fire alarm, nurse call, overhead paging and other ancillary systems within IMIT environments.
Beyond his work, Rahim is committed to giving back to the community. He has been a dedicated volunteer since his childhood and has taken on several demanding roles over the years. When he is not busy working or volunteering, Rahim enjoys time outdoors. Be it a walk around the neighborhood, a walk through the river valleys in Edmonton, hikes, or camping in the Rocky Mountains.
