Southern Alberta Forensic Psychiatry Centre (SAFPC)

The SAFPC Security System Upgrade project consisted of the complete replacement of the existing indoor/outdoor security camera installation, including head-end equipment. The SAFPC is a high-security detention center requiring careful planning and coordination for the changeover of cameras, with limited downtime permitted during transition. The project also involved the complete renovation of the main security office, the incorporation of additional server racks, the addition of a new main server room, and site lighting improvements. This project resulted in a net reduction in cameras while improving user experience, user ability to respond to situations, and overall visibility of the site.
