Winsport Markin MacPhail Centre

This Athletic & Ice Complex at Canada Olympic Park is the new home for Hockey Canada. The project consists of an Olympic-sized rink with seating for 3,000, three NHL-sized ice rinks with 400 spectator seats each, high performance training facility, a public fitness and training centre, a five-story office tower, a conference and meeting centre, an Outdoor Victory Plaza, and a concession area. SMP provided full engineering services on this project, including a full in-house broadcasting facility, electronic messaging, signage, and way-finding. The project also included high-end Hockey Canada dressing rooms with a video theatre and training facilities with full in-house editing suites.
