Livio is a Senior Project Engineer and Partner at SMP, bringing over 35 years of experience in electrical engineering and project leadership. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary in 1989, he spent 17 years at a multi-disciplinary consulting firm before joining SMP in 2008.
His experience spans a wide range of projects, including emergency service facilities, airport and airfield infrastructure, and event-focused facilities. As Partner-in-Charge of SMP’s dedicated airport design group, Livio provides specialized expertise in the design of electrical systems for both groundside and airside airport projects.
A LEED Accredited Professional through the Canadian Green Building Council (CaGBC), Livio is passionate about sustainable and integrated design. He is committed to delivering thoughtful, efficient solutions while maintaining strong communication and collaboration throughout every phase of a project.
