Briana hails from Vancouver Island, where she spent a decade working as a Red Seal electrician. Ready to move beyond the field, she returned to school as a self-described "very mature student" in the EET program at SAIT, where she excelled — earning top marks while serving as social club President, organizing everything from social events and lunch-and-learns to the year-end networking event.

Now a working mom of two young kids, Briana brings her hands-on field knowledge and the organizational skills honed through the beautiful chaos of home life to deliver well-coordinated, detailed electrical designs. She spends her free time outdoors as much as possible with her kids, her floofy monster, and her partner. She loves to travel and experience new things almost as much as she enjoys making people's eyes roll with a bad joke. Kind, warm, and professionally driven, Briana fosters a welcoming social environment at SMP and is always looking forward to learning something new — or imparting knowledge to less experienced designers.
