SMP Engineering designed electrical systems for Lethbridge's Cor Van Raay YMCA, featuring diverse aquatic facilities, fitness center, and multi-sport areas in North America's third-largest YMCA.
Phase 2 of Lethbridge Crossings Leisure Complex consists of the design and construction of a full YMCA aquatics centre, including waterslides, surf simulator, climbing wall, lap pool, lazy river, tots spray area, whirlpool, and zero-depth entry gentle wave pool. The facility also incorporates a multi-sport field house, a fitness centre complete with an indoor track, a gymnasium, an indoor playground and child minding area, various commercial lease spaces, and the utility and amenity spaces required to support such a facility. This Phase 2 portion of the complex was connected to the existing Phase 1 to provide continuous and easy access to all the leisure complex has to offer for the community at large. Cor Van Raay is the third largest facility in North America operated by the YMCA.
