Neil is a Senior Electrical Engineer and Technology Lead at SMP Engineering. He specializes in electrical design for buildings, with experience in solar power, lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and communication systems. Neil also drives digital transformation within the firm, building custom automation tools, Revit add-ins, and SharePoint-integrated workflows that improve efficiency and reduce friction in day-to-day engineering tasks.

He is known for his systems-focused approach and for developing solutions that simplify complex processes, whether optimizing project documentation, refining internal tools, or improving how teams interact with information. His work spans full electrical design, upgrades, studies, assessments, and coordination with utilities and multidisciplinary partners.

Away from work, Neil enjoys a mix of creativity and activity. He spends time designing functional items, both through 3D printing and the home renovation projects he and his wife take on together. He also enjoys carpentry, golfing, running, gaming, and time with their dogs.
