
SMP Engineering designed the electrical systems for Joane Cardinal-Schubert High School, a $45M new build in Calgary, accommodating 1,800 students with state-of-the-art amenities.

In addition to standard classrooms, there are numerous Collaboration Pods located on levels 2 and 3 overlooking the atrium for group study areas, ideal for group projects. Level 2 also contains large learning commons, flex spaces on the atrium Bridge, and info services areas providing an open atmosphere. The school is also designed with an exterior amphitheatre for outdoor plays and concerts.
