Cory joined SMP in 2018 after earning his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Victoria. With a focus on electrical design for schools and recreation centers, he has also contributed to the design of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for a variety of building types.

Cory achieved his P.Eng. designation in December 2022 and was promoted to Associate in May 2024. As an Associate, Cory plays a key role in advancing SMP's project management practices, collaborating with teams across all offices to align and enhance project delivery standards.

His expertise in Zero Carbon Building Design further supports SMP's commitment to integrating sustainable practices and energy-efficient solutions into commercial electrical systems. Beyond project work, Cory actively shares his knowledge through university lectures, client meetings, and trade shows, fostering collaboration and innovation in the growing field of commercial building design.
