SMP Engineering designed energy-efficient lighting and control systems for Chinook Regional Hospital's expansion, enhancing comfort and flexibility for patients and staff with future-ready technology.
The design focus for the $128M CRH expansion and renovation was to engineer an energy-efficient, functional design providing a flexible, comfortable environment for healthcare workers and patients. Working with the design team, SMP implemented new digital lighting control systems, which increased energy efficiency and provided a more comfortable and controllable environment in the diverse areas of the facility. The control system can be easily expanded for future expansions to the building, resulting in increased energy efficiencies for all future modifications.
