Rob joined SMP in 1997 as a Junior Draftsperson and steadily advanced to his current position, which he has held since 2007. Based in the Lethbridge office since 2004, he brings nearly three decades of experience and a proven ability to deliver well-considered electrical designs across a wide range of project types.

While his strongest technical focus is industrial developments, his portfolio also spans fire alarm system design, healthcare facilities, educational environments, and multi-family residential projects. This breadth of experience lets him approach each project with a practical understanding of code requirements, user needs, and long-term reliability.

As a key member of SMP's internal security team, Rob applies his expertise to help clients mitigate risk through comprehensive security planning. His work integrates property protection, personal safety, productivity, and operational well-being, reflecting his commitment to solutions that are both technically sound and responsive to client goals.
