Rob joined SMP in 1997 as a Junior Draftsperson and has steadily advanced to his current role as Senior Electrical Designer and Associate, a position he has held since 2007. Based in SMP's Lethbridge office since 2004, Rob brings more than two decades of experience and a proven ability to deliver well-considered electrical designs across a wide range of project types.

While Rob has a strong technical focus on industrial developments, his portfolio also spans diverse sectors including fire alarm system design, healthcare facilities, educational environments, and multi-family residential projects. This breadth of experience allows him to approach each project with a practical understanding of code requirements, user needs, and long-term reliability.

As a key member of SMP's internal security team, Rob applies his expertise to help clients mitigate risk through comprehensive security planning. His work integrates property protection, personal safety, productivity, and operational well-being — reflecting his commitment to solutions that are both technically sound and responsive to client goals.
