This newly constructed six-storey wing includes 140 in-patient beds, Intensive Care Unit, Coronary Care Unit, roof-top helipad, and 420-stall addition to the west parkade. The project plans included "shelled" space in the east wing to allow for future development on the site, including an expanded Emergency Department, Mental Health Short Stay Unit, Hemodialysis Unit, Transplant and Renal Inpatient Unit, Transplant Clinic and Research Facilities, and Clinical Lab services.
