University of Alberta’s Peter Lougheed Hall is a student residence building designed to connect the East Campus to adjoining amenities. Completed in 2017, this 80,000 square foot facility includes approximately 150 beds (in one- and two-bedroom configurations), a large inspirational space with video conferencing capabilities for social gatherings, lectures and seminars, amenity spaces, a dining hall, fitness facilities, a recreation room, and office support space.

SMP was the Electrical Sub-Consultant involved in the design of the Lighting, Power Systems, Low Tension Systems including Fire Alarm, Voice/Data, Wireless, and Security Systems. The project achieved a Green Globes 4 certification.
