Diversity, Equality, and Inclusivity
In 2020, SMP established an internal Diversity, Equality, and Inclusivity (DEI) Committee. Initially motivated by APEGA's "30 by 30 Initiative" aimed at achieving a 30% representation of women among professional members in engineering and geoscience by 2030, the DEI Committee has primarily focused on promoting gender equality within the firm and the industry. Additionally, it plans to expand its scope to encompass other DEI initiatives.
