Diversity, Equality, and Inclusivity
In 2020, SMP organically formed an internal Diversity, Equality, and Inclusivity (DEI) Committee. Initially inspired by APEGA's "30 by 30 Initiative" to have women comprise 30% of professional members in engineering and geoscience by the year 2030, the DEI Committee's focus has been on gender equality within the firm and industry, with a path forward to explore other DEI initiatives.
