This new $45 million school can accommodate 1,800 students within nine southeast Calgary communities. School amenities include:

  • Culinary arts complete with commercial kitchen and food lab for regular class instructions
  • Cosmetology classrooms
  • Full construction shop (CTS) complete with a spray booth
  • Design lab for AutoCAD courses
  • Robotics lab
  • Healthcare aid lab
  • Sports medicine lab
  • Full art classroom complete with a spray booth
  • Full music classroom complete with sound proof practice rooms
  • Two gymnasiums (large gym for sporting events and functions and small auxiliary gym)
  • Full fitness studio
  • Main floor large breakout and student gathering area in atrium

In addition to standard classrooms, there are numerous Collaboration Pods located on levels 2 and 3 overlooking the atrium for group study areas, ideal for group projects. Level 2 also contains large learning commons, flex spaces on the atrium Bridge, and info services areas providing an open atmosphere. The school is also designed with an exterior amphitheater for outdoor plays and concerts.
