Key areas of focus included the redesign of the lighting system, addition of emergency power, modernization of the fire alarm system, partial renovation to the telecom system, and miscellaneous renovations to theatres and washrooms.

Phase 2 of the project included a new addition and expansion to the existing portion of the building and renovations to existing spaces not included in Phase 1 of the project.
