This newly constructed $676M, 60,000m2, nine-storey hospital represents the second phase of the BC Children’s and BC Women’s Redevelopment project, which was designed to deliver a patient and family-centered healing environment.

The design emphasized single occupancy patient rooms, noise reduction features, and access to natural light and views of nature resulting in improved healing environment. The project achieved LEED Gold certification.
